Year 4 Drama Showcase Year 4 shared some fantastic drama pieces they have been working on during assembly on Thursday 12th November. Each week in preparation for the assembly year 3 have been improving their articulation skills using tongue twisters. Year 3 Drama performance in assembly On Thursday 15th October, Year 3 shared some scenes they had created in their Drama class based on the Victorian poem, 'The Goblin Market', by Christina Rossetti. Geography Field Trip (1/10/15) Year 8 travelled to Chiswick in West London on Thursday 1st October to explore and investigate the River Thames to inform their Geography projects. Bridge Building Workshop (28/09/15) Year 2 enjoyed a Bridge-Building Workshop last week where their challenge was to building and test the strength of a bridge made simply of paper! It was very interesting to see the variety and success of the designs! Year 3 Trip to the Natural History Museum (21/09/15) Year 3 enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to the Natural History Museum to inform their current topic 'Footsteps from the Past'. Wall Mural Design Club The mural design club got off to an exciting start on Monday 21st September. The club will run throughout the year, and the team's efforts will eventually create a sculptural wall mural to decorate the playground walls. Evensong is attended by Masters of Livery Companies On the evening of Wednesday 16th September, Evensong was attended by many representatives of organisations who support the choristers including Masters of Livery Companies. City Buildings Walk for Years 1 and 2 (18/9/15) Years 1 and 2 had a fantastic day exploring their local area, and drawing sketches of the different kinds of architecture and structures they came across. Footprints from the Past (14/9/15) Year 3 became Palaeontologists for the morning and discovered exciting artefacts in the Pre-Prep garden!
